Princeton Photography Club 2016-17 Workshops

This fall, beginning September 27th, I am bringing 5 new workshops to the Princeton Photography Club. First is “Finding Myself in my Pictures.”second is “Making Meaningful Judgements about Photographs” – 10/18, third is “Writing a Photographic Review” – November 15. On 1/17/17 will be an in-depth study of the photographs and career of the newly celebrated Zanele Muholi who photographs in the gay and transgender communities of South Africa. The final session on 2/7/17 is a study of the photographs and life of a recently discovered amateur from 1950s Chicago, Vivian Maier, who built a body of work that was completely obscure until accidentally discovered roughly three years ago.
